Chess Board

In June 2007, I started working on this one of three ideas for unique chess boards.

The board is made from a boiler plate over 100 years old. The feet were turned from scrap aluminum. Each side has three acrylic glass bubbles internally lit with high powered LEDs. The chess pieces are held on by magnets.

The video is my first attempt at time lapse of one of my projects. I have the video to document the full project and hope to do so one day.

The board is currently for sale.
