20ft of Box Truss

This past weekend we built the main Truss work that supports the majority of the Pirate Ship and its passengers.

The box truss is over size for the load that will be put on it. The truss was built this way because the material was cheap, and with a project this big having something you don’t have to worry about is nice.

I also finished Milling the end of the drive shaft for the Spider Coupler and got the Gear Box mounted to the frame.

    Hi,

I’m following your project from France… I really love it, can’t wait to see it with the captain cabin, it will definitely give an idea of the final volume.

Congrats, fantastic project, keep on the great job!

Sham, that is awesome. You are the second person following the project that I know of. I mailed a Tripod to Israel a few months ago.

The captain’s cabin is the next thing I’ll be working on unless I can find the rear axle first. It has been really exciting seeing things come together.

    Thanks again,

    Andy
